Former Employee – worked at Ionx Holdings
Pros – The industry that IonX Holdings is in is interesting and ever changing, so it was a constant learning experience. The daily walks in the afternoon (about ten minutes) were definitely the high light of the day. Many of the coworkers were pleasant to work with.
Cons – They are too numerous to detail, but basically the President has no experience running this type of business, and reacts, but is not proactive in his position. There is nepotism, favortism, and inconsistent standards.
The products they began producing are shady at best, and I believe that they are dishonest to their customers and distributors.
Advice to Senior Management – I would suggest getting new management. The desire to learn how to effectively lead is not there for the current management, so it is doubtful that any positive changes will take place, even if they read this review. If they were open to suggestion, management and leadership training would help, perhaps attending some SBTDC classes to sharpen their business savvy...

Former Employee – worked at Ionx Holdings
Pros – The best thing was the fact that the employees there banded together. You could go to work, chat with another co-worker over the sensory dulling gray cubicles and converse about anything. You could walk down the dark, narrow halls to get coffee from the community pot, and someone would walk with you and you could enjoy a pleasant walk outdoors weather and time permitting.
Cons – The largest con for this company is the lack of business structure or true management. The CEO lives by the seat of his pants, at times telling you he knows all and the next admitting he knows nothing. There is a complete disrespect toward his employees and even to the people he puts in charge of teams. Which, in the end, only serves as his gofers so he'd not have to be the 'fall guy' when things go wrong.
The pay was lower than standard.
The benefits fluctuated by the CEO moods.
There is absolutely no business plan other than trying to make money.
The structure they build only applies to people not within the 'circle of power'.
Marketing is done in ways that are proven unsuccessful, yet is continued to do so because the CEO once saw something that said it works.
Advice to Senior Management – The only advice I can give and HAVE given is to have a set, written down business plan as well as a marketing plan for the year. The "turn on a dime" mentality does not work in that business. Plan, structure and organize the company. TRUST your employees and management. HAVE management. Treat everyone that works for you from the upper echelon to the lowest person on the totem pole with respect.
