    Pros

Iron Bow really cares about the workplace environment. They try to hire employees that fit into the culture and make the office an enjoyable but productive space. Senior management is very open—the CEO can be seen walking around the office a couple times a week. The HR department puts on events like a Health and Wellness fair and a 90 day exercise challenge to build office camaraderie and promote a healthy lifestyle. The interns are looked out for. They get meetings with leaders of each division to get a better feel for how the company functions. The also get opportunities to plan fundraising activities as well as visit Iron Bow partners to see how they conduct business.

    Cons

    The commute is sometimes tough.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Pros

Company benefits were very good, for a small company. There is not much more to say that is good about Iron Bow Technologies.

    Cons

Training for job positions are lacking. When asking for more training, managers tend not to allow room for improvement; they tend to draw their own conclusions, and do not base decisions on facts.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Consider allowing room for an employee to ask for help in order to improve their ability to support their job functions adequately.

    Pros

Good pay and employee perks. Friendly work atmosphere

    Cons

Lack of stability as a company. Downturns in economy lead to lay-offs. Management seems unsettled. High turnover

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Focus less on hiring only senior level people and spend some time training and improving the skills of the people you already have. New employees seem to be left to fend for themselves

    Pros

A handful of very good sales reps and some very promising contracts could provide improvement to revenue and profitability if managed correctly.

    Cons

Executive/Senior team lacks direction, vision and strategy. The lack of experience in growing a company and managing/understanding the various departments and how they contribute leaves this company disjointed and directionless.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Break up the boys club and hire outside experienced leadership

    Pros

Many of the individual contributors are genuinely good people, however, the management bait and switch tactics leave them reeling and bewildered, and morale takes a beating again and again

    Cons

Inconsistent practices and policies from division to division; shady lay-off practices; laughable promises from management

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Lay it all out on the table, don't sugar coat the trust about earnings, etc. If a layoff is coming, tell them, don't let the company worry about it and wonder who is next.

    Pros

Good at keeping up with technology, some interesting learning opportunities if you can take advantage of them. The pay and compensation package while good does not make up for all the flaws.

    Cons

almost everything else. The Subject Matter Experts are not listened to. Useful employees with a specific skill set are released to retain, bloated sales infrastructure people.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice
