Pros
Pays the bills. Covers insurance.
Cons
Unless you like having your 8hr work day tracked to the minute, do not work here. The company recently hired consultants who have now permanently implemented "Operator Logs" into the Corporate environment, across the entire company. Individuals (including accountants, CPAs, auditors, business support staff, etc) must record every minute of their day. Such categories on these "operator logs" include time spent in the bathroom, time spent on phonecalls, emails, meetings, etc. This information then feeds into all sorts of reports in which Management can track Productivity, Lost Time, Efficiency, etc.
It's micromanagement to the Nth degree. I wish it on no-one.Advice to Senior Management
Go back to treating your employees like valued human beings instead of replaceable, scrap-metal robots.
