    Pros

Did like the work and seeing the progress I made in data entry.

    Cons

Nasty bullies with trash mouths in department whom on-site boss would not reprimand due to probably not wanting to rock the boat. When it came time after being re-released when work ran too low and they wanted to bring me back to help with some more overflow of data entry material, I asked NICELY to have my desk moved to a quieter location and because I opened my flapper, they took my job away from me. Don't ever speak up if you want to keep your job is the norm now I guess, but I guess I had to choose between my health and my bank account. Unemployment money ran out since and have not been able to find another job. Should never have spoken up. Whatever. I made my bed, now I have to lie in it. And remember, temps are expendable too.

    Pros

They have a monopoly in the market and can squeeze their employees

    Cons

They do not pay the employees what they promise they were to pay them. Getting your commissions or bonuses is a total joke

    Advice to Management

Grab your ears and pull your head out. Treat your customer like you need them and take care of the employees that made you.

    Pros

Iron Mountain attracts good dedicated people to the organization.

    Cons

Iron Mountain is not a friendly environment for women and minorities to rise through the ranks. And when women and minorities make it past the glass ceiling, their is no monitoring of the Company's VP leader's disbursement of salary, raises and stock options awards which results in a very uneven pay scale.

    Advice to Management

    Do better

    Pros

Commission, good people in the ranks

    Cons

HR is the worst at this company, especially at the Limerick location. A friend of mine was a victim of sexual harrassment at this company, and after going to HR, they pretty much just said, that they were aware of the issues with the employee they reported, and did absolutely NOTHING. Furthermore, management only cares about what is best for them, and if you have an issue; similar to the stellar HR dept. (sarcasm) they will do nothing. If you are already stuck with this organization I wish you the best, but if not I would steer clear

    Advice to Management

Try to think more about your employers and team members. It's not rocket science, if you support them and the goals they are working towards for you and the company they will only make you look better. Furthermore, a little professionalism goes a long way...this is seriously lacking with Iron Mountain managers.

    Pros

Good, smart people, trying to do the right thing. They were trying to solve some very interesting data protection problems.

    Cons

Senior management that didn't know what to do with technology. And given the nature of the company, they're hesitating to use modern technology (trying to avoid 'fads')

    Pros

    - Great pay and benefits
    - Large organization with many layers and established teams
    - Strong financial health
    - Records management leader

    Cons

    - Industry changing to digital, company moving to REIT focus away from physical storage
    - Middle leadership given too long to fail before changes are made, slow to react, and too detached/oblivious to what is takes to execute plans
    - Operations team not efficient but think they are

    Advice to Management

Cut out older non-producing leadership who blame lower lever managers for their lack of leadership.
