    Pros

    Entry level job, pretty easy job tasks. If you work here long enough then you should have enough experience in a college setting to move on to different jobs.

    Cons

    Hard to get promoted within the company. Sometimes your good work goes unnoticed, but that's what happens with just an assistant.

    People are great and approachable
    Everyone cares for the student population and improving the services offered

    Cons

    The college's budget often determines your hours given and pay
    Bad budget, not much money coming your way
    Unless you have a masters degree, expect a job not a career

    Close to the freeway.

    Cons

    Pay is relatively low given the high cost of living in Orange County.
