Good work life balance but some managers are

Anonymous Employee (Current Employee) Gurgaon, Haryana (India)

    Pros*good work life balance
    *good pay
    *flexible timings
    *senior management is good

Cons*middle management has a laid back attitude. Can be manipulative at times. They do not have a very good attitude towards new joinees and communicate wrong feedback about them to the senior management.

Advice to Senior ManagementNeed to have a serious talk with the middle management about their work and attitude.

Web Content Intern (Former Employee) London, England (UK)

    ProsNice staff
Supervisors are willing to teach and guide
    Everyone works very hard
    Dedicated to the company
    Open plan office
    Left to my own devices
VERY understanding when I had a personal emergency

ConsNot a lot of interaction between employees
    Limited cross-department communication
Felt like an outsider (I was a temporary intern)
Largely ignored (told because I was doing well, but still a little uncomfortable)

    Dreadful environment.....Worst Employers I've had....

Anonymous Employee (Former Employee) London, England (UK)

ProsI guess it looks ok in the CV and you learn some e-commerce stuff...but a lot of time spent doing nothing or low skilled tasks

ConsBad Employer-employee environment. Extremely hierarchical and poor transparency of company goals and development. Salaries at the bottom of the market, bordering ilegality, for those very few who get hired. Marketing non paid interns get sacked for refusing having to work full-day packaging, removal and non professional tasks. Sense of exploitment. Poor motivation.

Advice to Senior ManagementLearn to believe better in your employees. Don't exploit them, motivate them. You'll end up having better environment and better results.

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

ProsGreat understanding of how VC funded startups work.
Online travel is a hot industry - especially the segment of tours / travels

ConsNot too much attention given to getting genuine customer insight - build it and they will come philosophy can get irritating at times.

Advice to Senior Managementtake better care of your people. in a startup they are the key. go less by gut feel and more by understanding what customers really want.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
