I worked at Island Conservation as an intern (less than an year)

    Pros

Save endangered species on exotic islands all over the world. Work with happy, laid-back coworkers that produce world-class results. Feel important, appreciated, compensated, motivated, and relaxed all at the same time. Working for IC is a treat.

    Cons

Some of the jobs have long deployments to remote places with few services. This can be an exciting adventure or a miserable test of endurance depending on your outlook.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Keep up the great work!

I have been working at Island Conservation full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Smart, hard working staff. Some opportunities to travel. Interesting projects. Located in Santa Cruz.

    Cons

Low pay, lack of diversity, lack of gender equality, to many chefs in the kitchen.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Utilize internal capacity better, provide growth opportunities, pay staff better

    Recommends
    Neutral Outlook
