    Pros

This company is run with a level of integrity higher than any company I've ever seen. They truly stand behind their product (real estate), processes, and people. Everyone I worked with had an amazing attitude and was so fun to work with...it was like a family.

    Cons

Seriously can't think of anything. Any extras would just be extras and superfluous...already plenty of perks, activities, benefits, parties, etc.

    Pros

The leaders in this organization are very informed, especially the CEO. Family company that has roots for the last few decades. If you are in sales you will have the information you need to help show why Ivory leads the way. Pretty personable & a high level of respect & courtesy from all areas of the company. Perform well and you will be treated like a king/queen!

    Cons

Saw a lot of changes and downsizing when the market tightened. Even some of the most talented were released. But don't get discouraged; you should understand that at the end of the day this is a business.

    Advice to Management

You couldn't ask for a more sophisticated, professional, and talented management group. However it is important to be aggressive with pricing when competitors in different areas of the market are at the door threatening sales.

    Pros

Ivory Homes is a goal oriented, driven company that provides steady work in an unsteady and inconsistent field.

    Cons

There are little to no movement possibilities within the company. Also, salaries are consistently lower across the board than they are in the marketplace.

    Advice to Management

You can't hold out on raises. They are inextricably linked to the confidence and satisfaction of your employees. If you want employees to care about the job they do, they need to feel that you appreciate them and the main way they feel that is by the increases they receive. At an absolute minimum you must increase to keep up with inflation. When employees cannot provide for their own families and have to rely on welfare to make up the shortfall there is a serious problem. You require much from your employees, and they meet those requirements. Please consider it.

    Pros

They pay you well but it does make a difference if they like you or not.

    Cons

They have favorites and some of their favorites are the worst agents. They are really bad for the company but the managers just let what they do go. All the agents are too afraid to say anything to the owner.

    Advice to Management

Be more fair when it comes to the agents that work for you.
