    Pros

Learn a lot in a quick amount of time. You are given a lot of responsibility and have a lot of freedom in your work.

    Cons

There is no work life balance and management runs very thin. A lot of turnover which puts a lot of pressure on every employee. Vacation time is not honored and puts the managers in position of either quitting or giving up their time. Everyone that leaves the job gets a better job making more money and working a shift that involves an actual work life balance.

    Advice to Management

Management still runs as if we are in a recession and does not take into account the economy becoming healthy again. The employees need to be paid for the work they put in and the vacation needs to be honored. Make sure the growth is sustainable before looking for additional accounts.

Work on keeping good managers. It seems that all the good managers keep leaving the company.

    Pros

There is a multitude of opportunities, great people and if you apply yourself, you will learn and grow daily.

    Cons

Tough to have a work/life balance and be a top performer

    Advice to Management

Reduce the tedious activities associated with the sales position. There should be fewer steps to getting an opportunity in the door, priced and proposal and with documenting your customer interaction. The CRM should be customized to make the process self-explanatory.

Hire more dispatchers for the intermodal fleet and open up more rotatable shifts for weekends off, ALSO ADD BETTER EQUIPMENT AND RAISE PAY!!!
