    I worked at J. C. Penney part-time for more than a year

    Pros

The best reasons that I worked at JCPenney were associate discounts, styles of clothing and home merchandise. I also loved talking to other associates when business slowed down.

    Cons

The best challenges that I had were during the holiday seasons such as Christmas, Black Friday, Back to School where it started to get busy in order to help customers with their needs.

    I worked at J. C. Penney part-time for less than a year

    Pros

Lots of hours, especially during busy seasons.
Friendly coworkers made it feel like a family almost.
Lots of recognition when name is specifically mentioned on a review.
    Flexible schedule.

    Cons

When working fitting rooms, there is generally only one attendant per section scheduled. Meaning if one person doesn't show up, someone else already working has to take over and rooms are almost impossible to take care of when one person is trying to keep two sections organized during peak hours.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be willing to call someone in if a person is a no show. If not, at least tell the others there that someone isn't there before busy time.

I have been working at J. C. Penney part-time for less than a year

    Pros

I worked nice hours, my co-workers were friendly, and there were special employee-only sales. There isn't much micromanaging and the leadership is very positive.

    Cons

Short breaks (15 min) and a lot of time on my feet. Tedious tasks that just need to be done. Not the job for you if you want something more exciting.
