    Pros

The company has excellent flexibility for part time employees. I started as a college student and had no trouble with them working around my class schedule.

    Cons

Turn over rate gets somewhat frustrating. I think the company should consider paying associates more.. Especially considering the work load that is required in smaller stores with fewer employees.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the good work. The company has had a great turn around since Ron Johnson.

    I worked at J. C. Penney part-time

    Pros

i loved my co workers and most of my managers, they are very helpful and informative about things pertaining to the company.

    Cons

their is no guarantee the amount of hours you get, can be a little disorganized in the store due to visual department. literally saw someone from headquarters come and fire 5 managers on the spot. so beware they can be ruthless.

    Advice to Management

act like you actually care for the associates. be more organized about where the company is headed.

    Pros

Good Discount. 25% off plus friends and Family event every 2 months of so which is an additional 25% on top of that.

    Cons

Very hard to move up. Especially in this location being so close to corporate. They have very high expectations. The raises they give everyone are laughable. The biggest one I have ever gotten was 25 cents.

    Pros

This was a good job for a teenager. The hours were good and if you needed a day off, it was no problem!

    Cons

The pay was poor. There was no room for advancment as no raises were ever offered. You could work there 2 years and a new employee would be hired in at a higher pay than you. Poor pay.
