    I love the company culture and the sales environment. It has been a fantastic job and I'll be terribly sad to leave when I have to.

    Being in a low inventory store in the south is a bit difficult because what our customer is looking for and what we have in store does not always align.

    I worked as a seasonal sales associate, love the team I worked with and the product. It was easy for me to meet sales goals as I was passionate about the clothing.

    Pros

    Great employee discount! 50% five full-price items each month (they need to be wear-to-work appropriate). 30% off on all other full price items, select full price items are 60% off, and employees always get an additional 50% off of markdowns! The people here are fun and relaxed for the most part, but still organized and well-run. There's a really extensive training before you begin, so you feel prepared to sell.

    Cons

    Seasonal employees get very few hours unless it is between Thanksgiving and New Years'; after, I only ever worked one 4-hour shift/week, and this was the norm.

    Pros

    I love J Crew because the management is amazing, and that the work experience was satisfying. Management, especially on weekends, was very nice.

    Cons

    No cons to think of, unless you work through a temp agency, then work is far and few but otherwise J Crew is an excellent company. Also not as much training 1 on 1 as I think would be necessary, and they seem hesitant to train employees on company equipment.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Better communication would be better but, as all bigger companies, a lack in communication always occur. I would recommend though, to take advise from employees to improve performance in warehouses.
