Pros

Family owned and family culture. Great work-life balance. Good visibility to senior management. Able to initiate projects and implement solutions and ideas to help the company. Employees are extremely dedicated.

Cons

Currently, the downturn in the housing market has been devastating. There hasn't been a time in the history of the company as bad as it is right now so that effects much of the business and the employees morale. Opportunities for advancement are not great due to the size of our organization although it could be better in other departments. It's especially bad now.

Advice to Senior Management

I am disappointed in their lack of communication and seeming lack of intention to more aggressively reorganize parts of the company that are not performing well and need to be cut.
