    Pros

People are great and you meet some good life long friends. Great training and great tech to make the job easy.

    Cons

Hard to move up, but if you like to kiss up and and do things by kissing up you will move up. Pay does not start out will but in the end it could go up, just work hard.

    Advice to Management

Consider moving people up based on merit not how much they kiss up or will do for you.

    Pros

The company has great name recognition with new customers and has a ton of current clients to market. Their marketing efforts always had the phone ringing with someone on the other end of the line. The income potential was six figures as long as you were quick and a talented sales person.

    Cons

The support teams of processing and underwriting were terribly slow at getting loans cleared to close. Very frustrating to have you client waiting for months in order to close their loan, while the local broker in town was closing loans in 30 days or less. The rates and fees are not negotiable and sometimes difficult to pitch to a non-Chase customer.

    Advice to Management

Strive to keep your talented people in positions that can better train the waves of new hires that surge into the company.

    Pros

The people are amazing and it was an enjoyable and interesting place to work. Lots of opportunity for movement across departments and functions. My direct leaders were focused on helping develop my skills and assigning me projects that kept me challenged and engaged.

    Cons

If you start in an entry to mid level role and move up you are not compensated very well. You will receive your annual performance increases of roughly 1-2% but rarely will you get a "promotional" raise. I had 5 promotions in 4 years and made significantly less than my peers.

    Advice to Management

Push for the leaders to conduct a market analysis every few years and adjust salaries accordingly. I have seen many top talent folks leave the organization (myself included) for a salary that is aligned with the market demands and job functions. When I left I made 47,000 with an annual bonus of 1,500. Now I earn 85,000 with an annual bonus of 15% of my salary; doing the same work as before.

    Pros

There is extensive growth within the company

    Cons

Because of its size, employees get overlooked when making decisions that pertain to income and quality of life.

    Advice to Management

If it is not broken, it does need to be fixed. Every tine a new leader joins the group, everything changes and is not always for the best.

    Pros

Salary was good. My Managers were outstanding. They stood out from all others.

    Cons

No growth due to lay-off, Chase didn't really assist employees to seek other positions.

    Pros

Great pay. Awesome benefits. Company takes care of you in many ways. Great collection contest. Very rewarding. Free tickets to the diamond back games. Discounts all over the place. Not to mention their lucrative 401k plan.

    Cons

No upward mobility. Everyone in recovery has been there for a century and doesn't plan to go anywhere.

    Advice to Management

Less favoritism. Give people a chance who deserve to move up. Not just because they've been there 20 yrs.
