    Pros

    The company has worldwide footprint.

    Cons

Poor quality of management as they are disorganised in managing way to award and recognise those who deserve it. As long as you are loud enough, you will be awarded so you don't necessarily be skilled in your job. Consequently, this encourages subtle bully and promotion is not based on merit. Subtle bully is difficult to prove although people are fully aware of it. Therefore those who are guilty are free and receive pats on the back. Those with skills remain unrecognised.

    Advice to Management

Make sure that pat on the back is given to the right people and all the people who deserve it.

    Pros

    It is a recognised company

    Cons

I worked in JPMorgan in Bournemouth.
You recognise the company name but it does not recognise you or your honest potential. Promotion is not based on quality, and this is actually heavily admitted and promoted by the company's management.
The company has lack of quality control (or could be just intentional ignorance) over equality and employment hiring. Management is lack of professionalism in decision making, as it is based on who you know rather than quality for the business, which also gives non-reciprocal benefits for the impacted teams and the same issues will only keep reoccurring.

    Advice to Management

    Be professional at all times.

    Pros

thrown in the deep end but not without a decent level of support. lots of interesting projects, very talented people and a true advocate of technology. Internal mobility is also very healthy

    Cons

a level of politics (as with anywhere). A very big place making it difficult to progress. some divisions have a long working hours culture

    Advice to Management

Spent more time with junior members

    Pros

Good name to have on your CV.
Great place to learn the ropes.
Top performers will get exposure quickly in terms of projects and senior managers within their buisiness

    Cons

Managers are single-minded and input is disregarded or even not wanted and contributions go unrecognised.
    Too much gets criticised publicly.
Too many people that manage up, not down.
Feels like not accomplishing anything meaningful and just fighting fires.
    Political/bureaucratic.

    Advice to Management

Culture is more important than results in keeping top talent.
