    Pros

First good money, you can have a confortable life with your salary in columbus city; second, the working environment is very nice; third, the boss is not pushing, so you may get lot of leasure time; fourth, the business is located in columbus, a very safe and beautiful city.

    Cons

When you get the offer, you seldom have the chance to choose from the positions, they are assigned to you; the life is so confortable that you may not be aggressive any more.

I have been working at J.P. Morgan

    Pros

    - high performers will be treated well--the company is passionate about mobility and retaining talent, so even if a team ceases to exist, good people will be helped out and moved
    - geographic mobility--JPM has offices all around the world, and I know of several people that have been able to spend a few years abroad (or indefinitely if they so choose) either at a similar role or within something different
    - compensation is at par with other BBs (with a more supportive culture)
    - corporate discounts are a nice perk--phone, museums, travel, etc

    Cons

    - review process can compress a person into whatever they are able to project on the senior leaders of the floor (in S&T) and the process can feel political and enforces certain behavior (instead of just doing a good job and focusing on ways to improve processes, image must be maintained)
    - industry overall is compressing, so the trend here, as across the street, is to function as a leaner org (and the compression has negative consequences on comp and general sentiment)

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

take time to revamp technologies--many apps need improvement in order for business to run at optimal speed

Flexible work from home arrangements with the right manager and team. Benefits are good and lots of networking opportunities.
