    Pros

Great Products to sell. If the branch manager could put together a good team, the branch will be very successful. However you must have the right Branch Manager in place.

    Cons

Too much turnover with the bankers and even the branch managers. There has got to be a way to entice the branch managers to stay for longer periods of time.

    Advice to Management

Try and keep your managers longer than 6 months. It would really help the branch hit their numbers. I think this is very important.

    Pros

Good commissions-4 weeks vacation with personal days and floating holidays- potential to advance yourself when you've sustained goals. Easy going environment, depending your branch.

    Cons

repetitive work-takes time to establish consistent commissions-low base salary-consistently changing goals, which currently appear to keep customers out of the branch.

    Advice to Management

Increase base pay and give 3% raise every year. Branch Management has been consistent. Quit being so concerned about cutting cost/expenses when you're multi billion dollar company. Stop pushing people out.

    Pros

Great exposure to a large firm with the ability to network across different groups. Challenging and thought provoking work. Great reputation on Wall Street.

    Cons

Firm is too big and very bureaucratic. Some groups work harder than others. Some times summer analysts are taken advantage of. Sometimes not enough exposure for internal mobility.

    Advice to Management

Provide summer analysts with more opportunity to network across different groups without fear of having current group misjudge your actions. Make headcount better known.
