I have been working at J.P. Morgan full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Having holidays off. Working with the clients. Being able to be licensed through Chase and some of the management team in Florida very supportive

    Cons

Too restrictive. No room for growth. Too much micromanaging.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Let employees breath and utilize their talents to bring in clients. Have more outside community activity in an area. Participate more in team building events.

I have been working at J.P. Morgan

    Pros

Can do attitude, expanding in a difficult time and a real attempt to help the economy. The Best CEO, of a large banking institution.

    Cons

Clearly consistant mistakes, lack oversight and good judgement from top to bottom in providing good quality products to clients. It's sad to see good harding working people get lost in the black hole.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

In Regards the Lending: Regional VP's, their boss's and the additional Managing layers should be required to fill the shoes of the people doing the ground-work that are not paid very well, and it's reflected and shows in their accountability. It appears, they are just recruiting Manager's and lack experience. Leading with fear is not motivational, at least not in any business books I have read. That said they are Global company, and do a lot of things very well!!!

I have been working at J.P. Morgan

    Pros

Ability to be sponsored for FINRA licensing & to be paid to study 8 hours per day while you complete the program.

Ability to advance into new careers/fields of interest

    Cons

Be prepared for a lateral move i.e. a painstaking approval process for any salary increase when you are promoted with little chance to be paid fair market value for your position

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

More management training to acknowledge hard work & successful employees. Regular employee development/mentoring to provide positive consistent growth.

I have been working at J.P. Morgan

    Pros

Advancement easily, gives proper tools to work with, mgmt support 100% when you squeak the wheel. Customer geared where it makes logistical business sense....

    Cons

Corporate, no control over lending, too cookie cutter. Lost arts of personalized business banking, unless you have a good banker. Turn over rate high.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

None. This is how a company should be ran, I can pick up the phone and speak to the ceo if I wanted too. That's neat! However pay talent with respect, increase salaries based on performance more that just 3%
