    Pros

Great team work, great people, great progression, great training and great benefits

    Cons

Work life balance and time off over Christmas but that's when the busiest time for our store is.

    Advice to Management

Great place to work and progress through a major supermarket

    Pros

Good discount off products and a nice relaxed environment to work in. Managers were pretty cool and nights out were regular.

    Cons

Takes six months before your staff discount takes effect. Just of general cons of working in retail; customers.

    Pros

The store I work in has super nice people, with many staff socials. Staff discount card, free uniform. Great company values & ethics. If you have a good attitude it's going to be a good place to work.

    Cons

When you see some people walking around not being picked up on uniform breaches when you have it's highly frustrating.

    Advice to Management

Make more graduate opportunities for varied roles & it easier to transfer to different regions for students.

    Pros

Great company, decent benefits but not as high as other supermarkets.

    Cons

Cutting back on upper management so no a lot of places to go from management upwards.

    Pros

Above minimum wage, friendly staff, generous holiday entitlement, rewards for good service, family orientated, support to aim higher and gain qualifications

    Cons

mainly 12 hour contract, late finishes, abuse from customers, can be boring when on late night and all jobs have been done and no or few customers to serve, fluctuations in overtime, four weekly pay.

    Advice to Management

look at the amount of customers you get in through the door on an evening and goods being sold compared to the amount of staff and wages paid out. You will find the figures don't add up.

  9. Staff and management are all very supportive and helpful and it is an enjoyable workplace environment.
