I have been working at J&K Bank full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

The USP about J&K bank is the sense of belonging among its employees which is peculiar to this institution. This is primarily because predominent number employees belong to a homogeneous geographical region (Jammu & Kashmir state) which makes them bond with each other easily. The employees treat the bank as their own bank for the bank being based in Jammu & Kashmir.

    Cons

A largely flawed HR policy. The management of the bank still treats its employees as their subjects who live at their mercy. Though slow, there is a visible shift in setting the systems and procedures in place in line with new private sector banks.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

High time to shun away with the rigid mentality and treat their employees as their colleagues. Be more professional in their work
