I have been working at JFC Staffing as a contractor (less than an year)

    Pros

JFC provides staffing for manufacturing, clerical, medical, etc. One stop shop for job searching in south central PA. JFC contacted me after seeing my resume on another job search engine and assisted me in finding suitable employment. Many positions are contract to hire. JFC assists each employee in completing the necessary paperwork requirements for each assignment and looks to assign you to an appropriate position for your unique qualifications. It is very difficult to find a job after a certain age. At JFC, age is not a problem.

    Cons

A person has to work at JFC for 1000 hours before receiving holiday pay and 1600 hours before being eligible for vacation/sick compensation. Other than that, JFC has been a pleasure to work for.

I have been working at JFC Staffing as a contractor (less than an year)

    Pros

Offers good hours, but with a contract, when they say your contract is done, you are done and you have very little time to find a new job

    Cons

Benefits could improve, as well as helping people find new jobs once their contract is up.

    Doesn't Recommend

    Pros

There aren't any pros to this company.

    Cons

Little pay, they expect you to come in early and stay late. The management is always breathing down your neck and the commission is impossible to earn.

    3) Small Family Business Enviornment - Ownership openly listens to your ideas and often act upon them.

I have been working at JFC Staffing

    Pros

the staffing agents are some of the best people I have ever had the chance to work with. Whenever I am between full time jobs they have some type of work available for me to do while waiting for a full time job opportunity to come along. then even offer alot of temp to hire positions with their clients.

    Cons

some of their temp positions are only for a few days to a week hoever most of the time they las a month

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

talk with employees several times a month about any concern being employed by them n working with their clients. It may help keep more good employees employed longer with clients. May also help employees return to same clients for future contracts.

I have been working at JFC Staffing

    Pros

Able to work for various jobs at a good pay. You are able to get experience at different companies and there is always a chance that one will offer you a permanent position. You are able to get a feel for the employer before accepting a permanent position

    Cons

Never knowing when next assignment will be after completing one. Also not knowing where the next job assignment will be.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

To give more feedback and to contact the employee to make sure everything is going ok at the position they are placed at.
