I have been working at JFK Medical Center full-time

    Pros

Administrators and employees are friendly. There is a heavy focus on the patients which is always a plus in a hospital.

    Cons

Unfortunately a lot of politics come into play. There's always talk of change to make things better but those changes are slow to come around.

    Advice to Management

Don't focus so much on the little details that aren't adding to the big picture

Its is a great place to start your career and opportunities are given in many department to move up.

The director will not provide any support nor listen to the employees concerns. He rules with an iron fist and patient care is not important to him. He is only looking to meet the financial goals.

    Advice to Management

Listen to the employees and learn about their concerns as they are ultimately who are taking care of the patients.

    Advice to Management

Get rid of Management. Rehaul. Only big bonus for the higher management. Ceo's etc. Need to give 7--% raises to employees just when I started in 1990. No meetings to up date staff.
