JMP was a great experience, where they really taught the interns the basics of equity research and corporate culture.

Equity Research Intern (Former Employee) San Francisco, CA

Pros-Great leadership from analysts and directors
    -Very professional atmosphere
-Great location, get out by 2 or 3pm some days

    Cons-No pay for interns
-Early mornings, need to be in to the office by 4, for a 4:30 am morning call

Advice to Senior ManagementReally enjoyed working in this office, only thing that would be more of an incentive would be to compensate the interns with some money.

    Research Intern

Anonymous Employee (Current Employee) San Francisco, CA

ProsGreat learning platform, get to work with smart people, excellent hands on experience, given lots of responsibilities though I lacked in experience.

ConsThe hours can be difficult working 5AM to 3PM, and during earnings season the work load increases by a significant amount, but it's doable

Advice to Senior ManagementNo major advice needs to be given, the organization is great and I like working there. The people are awesome, and I look forward to the future.
