Pros
I learn something new everyday, plenty of opportunities to learn. Great amounts of overtime worked, but they compensate well for it. Management is good, just hate dealing with some of the back offices overseas.
Cons
High Volumes of work. Hard to get things done when the back offices are so risk adverse. Other internal departments you deal with will quickly throw you under the bus for problems they cause.
Advice to Senior Management
Grow your employees, mentor them. Hire more competent employees and get rid of some of the old dead weight ones that have been there forever.
Pros
Flexible place to work (Commute)
Easy and Light weight applications
Cons
Mean Time Sense
Lack of Professionalism
Advice to Senior Management
Be Productive and helpful to employees
Pros
Large Company
Great Brand Recognition
Cons
Low Pay
Lower Level Management is not impressive
Lots of confusion
Poor communication
Advice to Senior Management
Allow your employees to work to their potential. Your managers are holding back lots of great employees because they appear to feel threatened by those on their way up.
Pros
Great Incentive and great benefits
Cons
Better salary and better hours
Advice to Senior Management
there is always two sides to the story
Pros
stable good environment somewhat growth
Cons
unorganized and politics, to many games
Advice to Senior Management
listen to their employees
Pros
Compensation was great. The diversity of the firm exposed me to alot of different people and ways of thinking which was excellent. I was given a large amount of responsibility from early on. My manager and team were friendly and very easy to get along with.
Cons
Overtime was often required. Technology is a bit outdated. You are often the scapegoat and blamed when something goes wrong
Advice to Senior Management
Listen to feedback just as well as you give it. Organize more outside of work activities for the firm to give employees and management a chance to bond.
Pros
Steady employment is made available.
Cons
Lack of knowledge sharing; promotional opportunities are lacking.
Advice to Senior Management
Ensure all managers receive training, must pass PMP certification from PMI, and are retrained each year to retain positions.
Pros
A good benefits packages is about the only thing I can recommend.
Cons
Zero job security with culture of offshoring back office business units. In-house training (initial and ongoing) reduced to the bare minimum.
Pros
Chase is one of the few companies that will offer their employees other jobs before leaving them with out a job and laying them off.
Cons
Its really not about what you know but who you know in this company. You could have all the knowlegde in the world about the job you want, but unless you know someone, its really hard to get in the door.
Advice to Senior Management
Every department should have people who are in an authoritative position be professional at all times. I dont care how laid back your department is, management should always be professional. In short, keep it professional.
Pros
A good place to gain experience
Cons
Management is horrible. No advancement
Advice to Senior Management
go somewhere else if you want to advance your career
