Pros
Good pay, good benefits, many vacation days
Cons
long hours, bad culture, bad management, no compliance, cover your a.. mentality, execute orders and dont complain attitude. Limited career growth opportunities, no management guidance or help.
Advice to Senior Management
Be welcome to enter 21st century with the rest of us.
Pros
1. They have Good benefits
2. Alot of opportunity for advancement if your manager allows it
3. job security.
4. Can go anywhere
Cons
1. Management takes long lunches or leaves early and punishes other employees for being late.
2. Opportunity for advancement falls on immediate managers. For even 1 promotion you have to go onto a career plan that can take anywhere from 1 year-4.
3. Many positions do not get payed for the things they have to deal with from the company
4. Too many jobs for 1 job. I.E. 40 hour teller = Lead Teller, Trainer, ABM, SSA without proper compensation.
5. Bad quality uniforms
Advice to Senior Management
Look closely at what lower and middle management is doing. They are running amok and causing the "uniform" experience to become whatever they feel they want it to be. Also please listen to your employees about uniform enhancements, adding a bow-tie is not the equivalent of better shirts.
Pros
Very convenient. many opportunites here
Cons
salaries not as competitive as other banks. incentive plan is great
Advice to Senior Management
Offer salaries equally as competitive to other banks. I agree that our incentive plan is one of the best but not salary
Pros
A brand name with recognition
Cons
No opportunity for advancements in houston region
Pros
Salary plus incentive
Good Benefits
Many open positions
Cons
Lack of communication
Too many levels of management
Always changing incentive model
Advice to Senior Management
Remove levels of management
Pros
Great benefits & 401K, great training programs, has a good CEO
Cons
Branch managers for better words suck! District managers will not listen to employees about problems in the branch. If there was not a Chase on every corner then comission would be great! All former WAMU branches create over population in the area so you have less customers. Too much service issues to deal with, that needs to be for the managers to deal with but the managers seem to think they are too good to handle that. Managers are lazy! We are sales people, we create revenue for the company, not to deal with old people who want their statements printed out or people who want fees back because they don't read their mail!
Advice to Senior Management
District managers need to listen to employees! If a branch has low morale and all of a sudden turns around and starts performing at a performance level 2 when the branch manager is out on leave, that should tell you something right there!
Pros
Management was wonderful, training was great
Cons
Child care was needed for all locations.
Advice to Senior Management
none
Pros
Very strong bank with really good job security and excellent benefits.
Cons
Payplans from bankers to middle management to upper management are not aligned and has caused friction between levels. Will have to deal with some unruly customers.
Advice to Senior Management
Too much micromanaging from branch management
Pros
Receive Excellent Pay
Paid Training for a whole week (Gas was paid for me)
Get Commission (unlimited on how much you can make)
Benefits
Cons
It can be stressful when there are many customers. Many get frustrated. Some people cannot do math correctly and may get frustrated with you when you correct them.
Advice to Senior Management
It has excellent people to work with. They all welcome new employees and help you get adjusted to the work environment.
Pros
Great Working staff, Good company as a whole
Cons
Too rigid, strict and very number oriented (Good thing)
Advice to Senior Management
Keep doing what u do best. However, try to promote people who really deserve it.
