Sometimes managers are unfair with days off
Very strict with policies behind teller lines
Can be stressfult
Advice to Senior Management
Tellers have personal lives as well with kids and people they take care off so having such strict policies about cell phones is really inconvenient.
Pros
Work with your school schedule if you're a part time employee. Great health benefits, you get discounts with phone companies

If you're a full time employee and want to go to school 5 and on it will be hard because it's a 9-6 job
Pros

Good benefits
competive salary.
Cons
very politically charged. Management spends more time networking, than developing .Limited training available. Yourcareer path is controlled by your direct report. To many cliques, and not enough team work.
Advice to Senior Management
Its' OK to promote awhite male, who is educated, whoisnot Mr Dimon. Quit the clique, as its toxic for business Work and life balance are more than asloganAllow for moves into other lines of business, an agile staff is imperative. Teach senoir management manners, being rude is never acceptable.
Pros
Was able to get a broad exposure
Developing challenging systems, handling large data volumes
Get to collaborate with colleagues from diverse backgrounds and skill sets
Cons
Peer review and forced ranking, across completely different roles and geographical locations
Matrix organization with managers in remote locations
Advice to Senior Management
Establish better work life balance for junior managers and project leads. Avoid comparing unrelated roles and force ranking developers negatively
Pros
the pay and the benefits are excellent the vacation time is awesome the pay for your shirts and ties which is also a bonus the insurance is great and also the job security
Cons
the black suits everyday makes you feel like you work in a funeral home management not very receptive to feedback lack of management skills no room for job growth or oppurtunity no raises and very hard goals to reach especially in the slower locations
Advice to Senior Management
listen to employees think like they would actually listen and take in feedback encourage employees and make changes treat all customers and employees equally
Pros
Always on top of technology day to day learning is awesome, for engineers is the place to be for 2 years and leave, chase will make you an expert on any field because they have all kind of problems.
Cons
Management is weak, they dont fight for their people, they do the force ranking review that even if you are great you never get an exceeds because they have a budget (industry standard but is unfair) no raises, so be sure you cut the best deal before you get in, the new healthcare is realy bad you pay 3000 in deductible and 2500 coinsurance and month to month is expensive, very near to a private insurance.
Advice to Senior Management
Give raises to your exceeds people and low pays to the new guys, they do the oposite and they always lose their Sr. Staff because of this.
Pros
Great people to work with. Everyone is helpful in your success.
Cons
Job descriptions and salaries seemed to be over-inflated at time of hire.
Advice to Senior Management
Be upfront about the true basis of pay when recruiting for new poe=sitions to be filled.
Pros
The employees are very friendly and the manager cared about my personal development. I had a lot of work to do and, I just wasn't sitting around.
Cons
It is a very big company so it's easy to get lost in the crowd. One has to take responsibility or else will be kicked aside.
Advice to Senior Management
Improve on the career development program available to the employee.
The performance management central should be continued, cos it is a great idea.
