Great pay. Career growth highly dependent on MD's ability to "champion" you in front of review committees

Cons
Can be too big and unwieldly
Advice to Senior Management

Pros
Great program in which to grow. The company has great benefits for the employees. The branch employees have a great attitude and are the key to success of any Adviser who comes into the program.
Cons
To much micro- managing. The turn over of the advisors are to great. Though the comp plan has been tweaked managers need to to a better job of on boarding new advisors.
Advice to Senior Management
A better job needs to be done on the quality of advisors that are hired. Chase is a great place to work, however the new advisors need to be trained better.
Pros
Good works are being recognized. Job mobility within the bank is good. Minority is given the same opportunity and treated fairly.
Cons
Projects are too rush most of the time. Working hours are long. There are too many administrative tasks to fulfill.
Advice to Senior Management
Management should allow employees to be more creative and innovative. Administrative tasks should be simplified. Management hierarchy should be flattened.
Pros
Big name - good on resume
Cons
Too much work, long hrs, little to no compensation
Advice to Senior Management
share the wealth and the spoils - don't hoard it all
Pros
Jpmorgan has:
Great brand name
Great balance sheet
Great tech support
Nice benefits
Good office facilities
Very structured platform
Smart employees
Cons
I think as a whole, jpmorgan is too big, and getting recognized for good work doesn't come naturally. I felt like more of a number than a person.
Pros
successful company with more opportunities to advance your career provided you are lucky to work with fair and reasonable managers
Cons
management does not take interest in employees personal life. working hours are not convenient for individuals with families, no flexibility in asking for time off for families matters
Advice to Senior Management
must take some interest in employees personal life, that makes employees happy and willing to go up-and beyond in doing their job
