Former Employee – worked at JRA Architecture
Pros – A mid-size, private firm, specializing in the warehouse/storage building type. A studio type atmosphere with collaboration and teamwork being some of the most important qualities of each employee in the workplace. Always open to new projects and building types. Headed up by a very intelligent architect who is licensed in all fifty states.
Cons – Being a smaller firm, the opportunity for advancement within the team is limited. The majority of the buildings designed are large warehouse/storage facilities. Due to client economic demands, individualization across projects can be difficult.
Advice to Senior Management – More training for new employees, which is geared towards the specific tasks that individual will be working on. The leadership at JRA is strong, with the licensed architects in house always being informative and willing to help others in the workplace.
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend
