Jackson Hospital (Florida)
I worked at Jackson Hospital (Florida)Pros
ER waitng time is down to less than 20 minutes
Doesn't care about the happiness of the patients or staff members
Management is more about making money rather than good medical and patient care
Shows favoritism to certain staff members
No job security
No pay raises

I have been working at Jackson Hospital (Florida)Pros

CEO works for management company from Tennessee- he is not a hospital employee--- his Focus is on making money.
They have difficulty recruiting doctors and they tolerate unprofessional behavior because they don't want to lose the ones they have.
Small town mentality that sabotages creativity and growth. Rules enforced sporadically depending on who you are.
Patient care is not main focus at this hospital--- main focus is on "passing the FCAT"--- what I mean by that is they spend their time and energy on meeting core measures and passing Joint Commission visits-- because those are financial reimbursement incentives.Advice to ManagementAdvice
Senior management disengaged and arrogant. Advice would not be well received.Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookDisapproves of CEO
