    Pros

    Managers were friendly, great teamwork, good discounts, good raises (25 cents raise once every three months I believe). Overall, a nice retail experience.

    Cons

    as a part-timer, you don't get a lot of hours (as it is the same in all retail jobs)

    Pros

    Great discount and customer base. Excellent product with good range in size and selection

    Cons

    Low salary offers. They will lowball you in order to avoid paying you more. No support from upper management regarding concerns of behaviour of management in store. No clear direction for the company

    Amazing team of managers/corporate leaders
    Prefer to promote internally

    Cons

    Disorganized
    Poor visual merchandising strategies
    Lack of creativity - many pieces purchased season after season and repeated sometimes more than 5-6 times.

    some of the girls were nice
    laid back atmosphere when head office wasnt around

    Worked well as a team, I was able to organize the clothes in the section I was in charge of.

    I Wasn't able to change roles on the sales floor (cashier, fitting room, etc) the hours weren't very flexible

    *50% discount on clothing
    *Fun promotional events

    Cons

    *Store Manager was unprofessional at times. Sharing personal information with staff
    *Schedule was consistently posted 1-2 days before the upcoming week
    *Management was given little direction and little to no direction from the Human Resources dept.
    *Extremely long hours if head office was visiting 13-16 hour days were expected.

    *Increase wages to increase quality of the Management Team.
    *Conduct team meeting to hold everyone to the same expectations
    *Senior Management should have more contact with entry level associates for retention purposes.

    Discount of 50% is decent
    Clothing quality is okay

    Cons

    Terrible micro managers- immature and controlling
    Too anal about dress code. Expect partime employees to always wear Jacob, even with the discount, $60 for pants is too much.
    Too much pressure for sales
    Poor management.

    Please notice the number of employees that quit your store. Watch your micro managers and their poor skills.
    - Too much favoritism occurs

    To HR - Look at some of the stores and the number of employees quitting.

    Canadian, pretty organized.. great company overall but the uppper management at the time was not good.. needed to go after so many years. Company needed innovative leaders to get them out of financial trouble

    Cons

    no HR sense, lack of follow up by RM on DM, pretty much on your own.
    need to update marketing strategies to continue to attract their target audience
