Pros
Empowered to succeed, provide consistent leadership with fair expectations, great support, fantastic marketing collateral, training, extremely competitive commission structure that rewards results. The ability to sell a service that is needed by almost all companies.
Cons
The market is extremely competitive and therefore there is a significant amount of pricing pressures and Jan-Pro is committed to providing a better level of service at a slightly higher price.
Pros
Great way to stay in shape, business owners of places I clean very nice, no co workers so no politics while working
Cons
Worst investment I've EVER made, VERY low earnings, Treated either a business owner or as an employee to benefit them as in if something goes wrong I am then told "you are the business owner take care of it" but they are also very demanding and treat me as though I am stuck working for them as an employee. Do yourself a favor and never invest your hard earned money with them or I promise you will end up regretting it unless of course you enjoy working in a sweatshop. I was even told by the Franchisor people only buy a contract if they are unemployable.
Advice to Senior Management
Please realize we are individuals, please quit treating the franchisee's as though they are fourth rate. Allow them to get out of the business if and when they wake up and realize they've had enough
Pros
job autonomy, flexible hours, good peers, can be fun at times
Cons
no benefits, commission is poor, micro management, base pay is lousy, No time off, No vacation, NO sick days...
Advice to Senior Management
If you want your employees working 60+ hours a week you need to offer benefits , better commissions, vacation time and sick days.
Pros
If you want no benefits, this is the place for you
Cons
No benefits, no direction other than watching a video, upper management could care less about what you've learned before requiring you to do the job
Advice to Senior Management
take a more hands on approach to your employees and give them constructive feedback
Pros
Some freedom to work your own hours
Cons
Market too competitive so income potential is not good.
Advice to Senior Management
Not sure what advice would be suitable to give.
