    Pros

    Janus has a great team that has a very hands on management style. They are always there to assist in any way. My opinion is solicited ALWAYS and I ALWAYS feel that I am part of the team.

    Cons

    Upper management are very hard workers but I feel that sometimes they are overwhelmed with all they have to do

    Great people and great ownership.

    Cons

    Unstable job. (Management companies pick up and lose properties on a regular basis)

    Pros

    You get a lot of experience. You are responsible for a lot of different areas because they do not hire enough managers. Most managers are managers of MANY departments. Lower level people in the Boca office VERY nice. Great to work with.

    Cons

    Not enough training. It is a sink or swim environment. Upper management does not seem to care about employees. They look at you like a dollar amount. Very unfair pay. Longer time at property, more hours, etc. does not mean you will be paid more that someone who works less and has been with the hotel for a shorter amount of time.

    Advice to Management

    Pay fairly. Take more time to talk to the employees and managers at the hotels. They work VERY hard to make money for the hotel. Show a little gratitude and give raises periodically.
