Lack of performance reviews and very little opportunity to progress further with in the organisation, some team leaders or managers lack competency..

Advice to Senior Management

Recognise talent and allow it to progress rather than solely relying on who has more years experience with in the field

Pros

Modern, forward-thinking company. Excellent staff welfare provision - healthcare, sick leave, social functions, etc. Friendly staff, managers, etc. Good salary package, job security, opportunities to progress. Very convenient location in Central London for commuters.

I was lucky enough to work with a very bright bunch of people from a wide variety of backgrounds, so it was a good environment for me in terms of intellectual and professional development.

Cons

Poor communication from senior management. Little communication between departments, which seems like a wasted opportunity in a large, diverse organisation such as JLT. Little trickle-down of strategy, targets, plans, etc.

Advice to Senior Management

Be more visible! Spend more time discussing strategy & goals.
