    I worked at JenCare

    Pros

Flexible hours, pleasant working environment, customer service driven environment
    Hours 7:30- 4:30
    Some Saturdays
Great experience in many different roles

    Cons

No training, minimal management assistance, no room for advancement, lacking in communication, cut pay more than half for top performers, Laid off entire department and added a non compete. I enjoyed my job here at this company. Seperation process was horrible and communication details about new roles and pay. Compensation does not support job duties expected.

    Advice to Management

Better communication with changes in the company. Have compensation meet job duties. Make advancement fair to men and women.

    Pros

Trying to make a difference for senior health care. No weekend work for nurses and most staff. Pay is above minimum wage.

    Cons

Treatment of employees- unprofessional. Executive Leadership is not only top heavy but manages top - down. Focus always is the number of joining seniors - quantity versus quality. The fall of the too fast growing company IS EMINENT! New marketing approach is unaccountable, non-transparent

    Advice to Management

Unload 20% of top leadership. Additionally the company re-structure with those employees in the field doing events or rather campaigns need accountability and more over sight. Currently as a leader, I personally see too much waste and I'm not talking about trash.

    Pros

Helping low income seniors gain access to much needed medical care.

    Cons

little job security at any level. Inadequate job training. A majority of lower level staff are very unprofessional. Over charging the government for medical procedures.

    Advice to Management

Expanding rapidly, not screening new hires (having mangers hire friends rather than qualified professional workers), focusing on quantity rather than quality will be the down fall of this company.

    Pros

Fair benefits, great hours, pretty friendly staff.

    Cons

No real training to speak of, because the "trainers" are always too busy to train. You just have to figure things out by trial and error. This is difficult when you are also learning the multitude of doctors and their preferences, as well.
Also, company is too concerned with amount of time spent with each patient for both the doctors and the staff. It makes it tough to complete the tasks required for many of them.

    Advice to Management

Get a genuine training program and trainer for each center. Be less time-focused.

    Pros

The hour lunch was really the only good thing. Also you only worked monday thru friday with your day ending at 430. So very good work hours.

    Cons

Poor leadership. Very disorganized. NOT GETTING PAID ON PAYDAY. Lots of gossip and petty tattletelling about anything. Very unproffessional work environment.

    Pros

To help those that need help.

    Cons

All about the dollar. The owners are family and not proactive in change. Unaware of what is happening as they are located in Miami...blind to local management.

    Advice to Management

Poor benefits and time to take care of self and family! And you call yourself a family oriented health care company?? I think not!
