    Great place to work

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsGreat employee events - from the summer picnic to the holiday potluck there's always events scheduled. It's nice to meet other people during these events who you might otherwise not run into. People are friendly and willing to help out. The benefits are great - health, dental, vision, 401K.

ConsChange is continuously happening - don't expect to have the same day twice. I enjoy this, others may find it a little bit overwhelming.

Stable company with a long legacy.

Human Resources (Current Employee) Farmington Hills, MI

ProsBenefits are second to NONE. Part of a larger, growing global company. Managers work hard and are very friendly.

ConsLegacy policies can be cumbersome, but with the right people to help influence change those will be updated very soon. Change is frequent but that also means the company is improving and getting better!

Lot of politics and not enough positive growth or true appreciation of its employees and team.

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

ProsIt has a long history and has been around a long time. Typical benefits, not terrible, not better than average.

ConsVery old fashioned company, not very forward thinking in their policies or benefits. Also there are a lot of company politics at play. Management is not very fair or genuinely concerned with its employees happiness. Very reactive company. The company morale is often low and there are some very underserving executives in the company who seem determined to keep it that way. Management keeps the wrong guys in charge and promotes those who are not really interested in the company's welfare but their own welfare. It should be a great company but in actuality its a mess.

Advice to Senior ManagementRethink the management team, they are killing the company morale and employees who are not happy do not perform well.

    Terrible, terrible place to work

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

ProsNone. They didn't offer anything better than any other company I've worked for in the past.

ConsMicromanagement and talking down to your employees isn't great for morale.

Advice to Senior ManagementTreat employees as assets, and not liabilities.

    It's ok

Supervisor (Former Employee) Farmington Hills, MI

ProsChallenging, always new hurdles to overcome. Good variety of work. Company is doing more to push underperformers out (however slowly).

ConsStill stuck in an old automotive culture that doesn't work. Totally reactive. Information not readily shared with everyone that needs it. Pay is lower than you'd think. There is a saying in the field that the company will step over a $20 to pick up a dime. Staffed by a number of complacent people who have been there a long time and are engrained in some outdated mentalities. No real opportunities for advancement. Not many processes defined and followed.

Advice to Senior ManagementYou do not always know best. You make mistakes too - admit them and turn them into growing experiences. Support your people, and show it. Start sharing more information down the chain and get their ideas - you can't solve all the problems, but you can delegate and set a better example.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company
