    Pros

opportunity for advancement is great to a certain point, easy to learn, dress code is basically a t shirt and sweat pants, great food with available food credit, pay and hours were good for a pizza place, recognition for hard work. I have never felt more comfortable at a job until Jet's.

    Cons

kids as co-workers can become a huge problem for people who take their job seriously, call offs and laziness being the main problem. Also, as with any restaurant, weekends and evenings are where you get the bulk of your hours, which isn't ideal for most people.

    Pros

Its a fun and friendly atmosphere to work in...the owners are incredible people always encouraging and training...Oh and my staff is always on their toes ready with their "A" game

    Cons

Now that it's summer time we are getting busy later in the day so at closing time our phones are still ringing off the hook

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

As a current employee with a Jets Pizza franchisee the only advise I have for upper management is I would like you to consider extending business hours (atleast during the summer) to 11pm through the week and 12am on the weekends.

    Pros

Employee discount, which was great because they overcharge for everything.

    Cons

    horrible management - yelling,
    family arguments,
    lack of leadership,
    lack of development,
only .50 pay raise after working there for 2 years.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

employees receive very little appreciation for their hard work, long hours.
Lack of development for the people that work there, and want to move forward.
A lot of yelling and screaming on our busiest nights, Fridays,

    Pros

Hours are great, workload is very tolerable and not difficult to learn. Management goes above and beyond when asking for time off.

    Cons

Communication skills of upper management with employees is terrible, pay raises are non-existent, very little if any incentive to work hard at all. All of these cons make employees feel like their hard work goes unnoticed and is for nothing.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Improve communication skills with employees, and fight more for what the workers deserve.

    Pros

Working here was nice because of flexible hours and good staff. Can be fun and rewarding, especially for a continuing college student.

    Cons

Leadership was either micro-managed, or not managed well at all. Certain aspects were a bit unclear as to what should be done, and contacting upper management could be troublesome at times.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stay on the employees, but provide direction not just orders.

Current Employee - Anonymous Employee in Fort Worth, TX

    Pros

Job was very easy and it's easy to move up within the company. The pay is more than competitors pay around the area. The coworkers are easy to get along with.

    Cons

Management doesn't take into consideration that a "state of emergency" means that I cannot get to work because of the conditions. People are easily replaced with no questions asked. There are no insurance benefits. Coworkers like to close 30 minutes early and this makes customer satisfaction decrease.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Have more compassion towards employees.

    Pros

The Money is actually very good. I averaged $16/hr in tips. Superbowl is the Best earning day of the year. Plenty of hours.

    Cons

Management tends to be inflexible. Drivers have to do prep work for the kitchen during down time. Missing one day without a written excuse is cause for termination.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Relax, and focus on objectives instead of worrying about being so high strung all the time
