    Pros

None at all no pros of any kind

    Cons

Salary is terrible. Managers are immature who feel it's ok to swear at their employees and call them inappropriate names. Upper management didn't even call me when I walked off the job after being sworn at for the umpteenth time. Place is a joke big wigs came buy and told us not to needlessly upsell customers which was the exact opposite of what store manager and district manger forced us to do. Unless you are desperate for a job don't take a positions with this company.

I have been working at Jiffy Lube full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

As a manager there's nothing really good it's easy hours as a manager you need to put in is 50 hours a week. It's easy to move up but give it your best shot or you will get replaced very easy.

    Cons

There's constant fear of loosing your job the word fired get thrown around alot. You do not get raises and you can't give them out to your employees. The company does not care welcome to the McDonald's of oil changes.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Upper management should honestly pay people more to expect the things they wan't or offer raises to the ppl who are actually doing the job.

    Pros

Keeps you busy, good crew to work with. Upper management was mostly fair. Franchise offered great bonus program for store managers (trip to Hawaii!)

    Cons

    Very busy and dirty work.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I've heard that some other store managers (I was one) are mean and pushy. That doesn't work, guys.

I have been working at Jiffy Lube full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Fast paced work environment, can be fun at times and some managers are laid back.

    Cons

It is a total money driven corporation. All they care about is their bottom line. Our store made over a million dollars a year, we have plaques to prove it, but the bonuses the techs get arent even worth the time and effort we put in to making the big money. They look at employers as totally expendable assets just there to line their pockets. There is also a lack of accountability by managers. They pin their problems on the technicians and degrade their employees.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Share some of the big money the backbone of your company makes you and treat us like you care.

I have been working at Jiffy Lube part-time (more than a year)

    Pros

The training is phenomenal you can learn a lot through their training if you had more time but unfortunately they don't so that's the downside. Pay is good for CSA and Assistant manager not the best but its ok. They have flexible schedules.

    Cons

This company needs to care more about their employees they pay a crap wage to lube techs and treat other employees harsh when they don't meet company goals. They get mad when we offer $24.99 yet we advertise it, you have to go outside whether it's hot or cold P.S. I live in Texas and gets pretty hot and cold. We have to wave and we get paid bad wages to do it. Managers are the worst in my experience and Corporate is just very bad due to the fact they say they care but in all reality they don't.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Pay employees a fair wage and if you want people to wave or use a sign just hire someone to do it, we don't get paid enough nor is that treating employees fair with this Texas Weather.

I have been working at Jiffy Lube full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

You learn about what needs to be done to your car. How to perform services on your car. What to look for in case something in your car goes wrong.

    Cons

The pay is really low. You don't get compensated for your work experience. They don't offer health care benefits. The turnover rate is really high.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Pay your employees what they deserve and the turnover rate won't be so high.

I have been working at Jiffy Lube full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

DIscounts on services for your own vehicle
Education on how to work on all sorts of different vehicles

    Cons

Hours can be all over the place.
Corporate changes things that make no sense all the time.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Give pay raises to people who deserve them. Don't expect people to stay at this job forever with no $$$ compensation. There are much easier options for jobs out there for equal or better pay.
