Jim Pattison Group Reviews
Pros – You get to help businesses in their radio or tv advertising and feel rewarded when that business grows with your help.
Cons – High stress, due to budgets not easy to meet at times and becomes challenging as budgets only go up each year. Businesses close and new ones open, where you have to start all over to develop new customers in order to establish them as regular advertisers. And because of the new way people absorb their music today, it has become even more challenging to sell the product as the yeas go by.
Advice to Senior Management – A hands on developmental mentoring and in depth product and sales training for inexperienced new sales reps would be beneficial in order to garner the best outcome and offer the best chances of succeeding to each new sales representative that works for the Radio/TV Station.

Pros – If you've never had a job before, this is the place to kick start your working career. If you want a lot of hours for minimum wage, then work here. If your a slacker and want to get away with it, work here. If you like to be pushed around, work here. Otherwise, don't work here.
Cons – Unions. For teenagers they are completely useless, unless your a slack off. Secondly, it is a dead boring job, and the pay is crap. Some customers that come through your till are really nice, while others are complaining pricks.
Advice to Senior Management – Do your job better. When employees tell you they can't work a day and give you fair warning, respect them. If they need to cut down their hours (Which I didn't even want) Respect them, especially when its for school. When you promise a retention bonus, pay the full thing and don't tell us it varies for your avg hrs per week once we get the bonus. Learn to be honest, and respectful of employees.
