    I worked at Jobster

    Pros

I enjoyed the weekly company meetings. I like that you can bring you dog to work. Free beverages and snacks.

    Cons

Some departments would have their own cliques and would talk down to people in my department. It often felt like I was in high school.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Senior Managment should be willing to have better communication with staff and give employees more opportumties for advancement.

    I worked at Jobster

    Pros

Really smart, creative people passionate about revolutionizing the recruiting industry.
Solid sourcing technology that was a bit ahead of its time.
Ability & willingness to try new approaches in building the category.

    Cons

Frequent strategic direction changes - shift from enterprise sourcing CRM to Web 2.0 job board.
Company recently sold off in pieces after significant downsizing.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

To the new owners - iterate on the foundational enterprise sourcing IP developed at Jobster. Technology is solid and corporate recruiters looking for a more efficient way to source than traditional job boards.
