    Pros

Lenient, workload is ok. Flexible working hours. You will have time to pursue your own interest.

    Cons

Not much career development. You will get stuck in the same position for long time. Pay is not competitive. Company rather hire people from outside than to promote and develop current staff. Work is not exciting, trying to adapt western ideology but never understand those are not suitable for our culture. CEO is Steve J. wannabe.

    Advice to Management

I know it not your best interest to spend more, but in order to retain or attract talents, please adjust your salary standards. Spend more time on your best talent, give opportunity to them to develop their career and provide training pro-actively rather than asking employees to find their own training.

    Pros

Laptop scheme. Tablet scheme (but only applicable to IT dept). Dental claim. Long service awards (at least 10years).

    Cons

Lack of communication between department. Long establish management unable adapt to the change, only follows old road. No training and development opportunities. Cost saving company. Different department, different benefit.

    Advice to Management

Please look at outside and grow with the business world. Although Jobstreet is the market leader in Malaysia, will not always be.

    Pros

Great environment and people working together. Location is perfect and easily accessible.

    Cons

Very task oriented and sometimes it becomes irrational. No proper company values. No training for staff to further develop themselves.

  11. Good to expand your network, making new connections from all kinds of industry.

    Pros

I was account manager for Bali and being the only one working for the area, i am able to manage my own time and schedule, usually working for less then 2 hours in the office. Daily routine of 80% out of office to meet with clients and 20% in the office.
If your sales is good, you can do anything you want.
Good thing about working in recruitment industry your network is far from limited as you get to know people from all kinds of industry.
Other good things are health insurance, company outing, monthly staff events.

    Cons

Salary was extremely low, but commission can be huge (can be 4 times your salary) if your sales is huge.
Too much office politics and bureaucracy between mid to top level management.
Training and staff encouragement are limited, if not none.

    Advice to Management

More tight in recruiting/promoting mid level supervisor/managers since they are the main source for miss-intercommunication, low morale both individually or intra-departments, slow growth of staff achievements and edcucation.
