    Great company with nice employees.
They recognized interns which I thought was very nice.
I have learned more than I expected during summer internship here.
Great experience for personal growth as well.
I was happy to help others even in other departments.

    Cons

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Even as a freelancer I notice the disorganization within the company. Not everyone communicates well and as a freelancer, I have no idea what my future is. I've asked a few times and nobody gets back to me about how long they need me or to discuss my pay/hours.

I worked at John Varvatos as an intern

    Pros

Got a chance to work with an amazing team that was never too busy to show me the ropes, they took time to train me, to bring me up to speed and answer the all the questions I had.

I think it's a great internship opportunity, especially for production, wholesale, and design.

    Cons

It is a small company that is growing so there aren't many opportunities to get in yet, hopefully with it's growth, that will change.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

You guys are doing great, keep up the good work.

I worked at John Varvatos as an intern (less than an year)

    Pros

You get to meet some really great people and if you're lucky assist during some really awesome events.

    Cons

Day to day tasks can get mundane but thankfully there is something interesting happening once a week or so to break it up

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Would be nice if they had more open positions. The company seems as though they run on interns

    Pros

    - Great way to learn about high-end menswear
    - Great communication within the office about goals that are set and how to achieve them
    - Family atmosphere within departments because it is a smaller company
    - Overall great place to learn and get involved

    Cons

    - Wish there was more upward mobility within company, instead you see people move from company to company for the mobility instead of staying in one place.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Try to figure out a way with HR to bring back people who have worked at JV and create entry level opportunities.
