ProsFun upbeat, great team at my location. They promote having fun while you work. They have been at this location for a long time so the job is secure.

ConsUpper management is racist and sneaky. District manager talkes behind everyones back. They want you to do what they say and not what they do.

Advice to Senior ManagementStop watching us on camera and actually spend time in the store. If you watch on camera no need to brag about it it makes everyone uncomfortable.

ProsChill, managers are nice, supportive co workers. Fun place where people come for an experience not just food. Opportunity to become a manager and work your way up. Helpful managers, they want you to do well and will help you achieve that. Very very flexible schedule, easy to manage life and work.

ConsCheap menu which leads to smaller tips, as well as no alcohol. In the downtown mall so the crowd thy comes to eat there is a little rough and bad tippers.

Advice to Senior ManagementAdvertise better and apply a gratuity to the check.

ProsIt was a good environment to learn and grow as a new manager. The concept is simple, the menu is small, and the operation is overall easy to run.

ConsThe franchise owner(s)/partners only look out for themselves. Severe problems with nepotism, false hope about future opportunities to advance, and mislead about earning bonuses.

Cincinnati, OH

Former Employee – worked at Johnny Rockets

ProsNew clean restaurant.
New equipment.
Co workers seem peppy.
Up beat music in background all the time.
Pay was decent for the job.

ConsLittle direction.
Paycheck bounced.
W2 came back with wrong social on it.
Hired too many people at once then layed most off.
No positive feed back. Only got corrected when I did something wrong.

Suddenly was not scheduled any more, called for a few weeks, came in physically, was told yes I still have a job, but continued to not be on the schedule. The excuse was that there were simply no hours because the store was slow. After 4 weeks I just considered myself cut off and began looking for other employment. I have not received a call to this day to let me know anything.

Advice to Senior ManagementQuit over hiring.
Be clear about the positions you offer Temp/Seasonal/PT?????
Just tell me to leave if you don't need me.
Some people really need theses jobs, don't string them around.

Very relaxed enviorment.
Located in the mall.

ConsGrossly chaotic.
Serverly understaffed.
Day off requests are never honored.
Scheduling is very confusing.

Advice to Senior ManagementMore time need to be taking in the training process for both management and crew members. Also, managers should be allowed to hired famliy members.

New York, NY

Former Employee – worked at Johnny Rockets

ProsGreat Staff, good lunch food, sort of okay customers

ConsRude management, if you see that the kitchen and register are extremely busy, why would you walk in and criticize your employees over MINUTE things? Horrible pay, long shifts, the stress was not worth it at all

Advice to Senior ManagementWe know what we're doing, stop badgering us.
