I worked at Johnny Rockets part-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

The work load is set up to be quick and not too demanding on the employees, and the environment is fun with catchy tunes that allows the servers to get to dance and to be outgoing. Managers do not have high demands for office duties and are not watched like hawks, the lower level employees benefit from this because it means less stress and conflicts do to a work place overloading it's workers.

    Cons

Benefits are not the best, tips are kind of low because of the age of the people it attracts(depending on location). Because the lack of structure in the management, managers have a lot of time spent working by the sides of their employees which can be good or bad, some are chill while others can be overbearing.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Rally the employees by respecting them and treating them like this job is either a great career for some or a great stepping stone for others by getting them to see that the skills they develop there will continue to benefit them throughout there lives both to advance into future careers and just in there personal lives in general by gaining the people skills and positive mindset driven by a team effort.

I worked at Johnny Rockets part-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

The only reason I had an amazing experience here was because of the employees I worked for. I always had fun with them.

    Cons

Anyone above the general manager doesn't care who you are or how long you've worked there. They don't care about their employees they only care about money. They also care about their type of assessment which is some random person they give money to to eat at Johnny rockets this person could have a personal history with the server or management that gives a swayed score.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Care more about your employees! They are the face of your company!

I have been working at Johnny Rockets full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Corporation likes to be different and give different experience to guests, Great for entry level servers

    Cons

Corporation does not pay Management what they're worth. I've seen several managers come and go, most for bad reasons, but the good ones are on their way out because they can't provide for their families

I worked at Johnny Rockets full-time for more than a year

    Pros

this place is pretty laid back, great management, the costumers mostly are nice and don't give you a hard time. I worked in a tourist area, so it was fun, people were on vacation and just wanted to have fun. We danced every half hour, it was fun.

    Cons

not too many cons, really. Like in any restaurant if it's busy you have to run a lot, plus holidays and weekends are a must

I worked at Johnny Rockets full-time for more than a year

    Pros

The tips at this location were very good, especially on the weekends. Pretty flexible with scheduling and days needed off.

    Cons

The management turnover was pretty high. I had probably 6 to 8 managers over a 2 year period. Some helped on the floor more than others.

I worked at Johnny Rockets full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    I made $150- $300 a day.
By them firing me I found another job and there I met my husband.

    Cons

    Long hours no break

Every Friday and Saturday the store closes at 5am so out the door went my social life

    Coworkers steal tables

One of the managers found out what I was making. He started to watch me closely. To his surprise he found out I wasn't stealing. Long story short he set me up to get fired. At the end of the day who is going to believe a little server over a manager.
