Amazing place to work with amazing people.

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

ProsGreat work life balance, Lots of Happy Hours and events, Great family atmosphere, Flexible. This place is great to work at. They are a very small firm and they behave that way except when it comes to buisiness they behave like one of the big four.

ConsNo real complaints to give to management.

Johnson Lambert has a small team-oriented culture with great opportunities to learn about auditing.

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

Pros-Age trend skews young (under 40), which lends itself to better adaptability, closer bonds with co-workers and quicker learning curve
-Very tight team culture, so it's rare to have issues that can't be smoothed out with a boss
-Competitive compensation package and innovative "perks" like half-day Fridays in the off season

Cons-As with all public accounting positions, work-life balance is a struggle
-With the small firm size (compared to Big 4), bids for jobs can be unrealistically low and put pressure on the staff

Advice to Senior ManagementKeeping the small firm feel even as they grow will be key to employee satisfaction.

    Great place to work!

Staff Associate (Current Employee) Washington, DC

ProsGreat culture, great pay, and it's easy to move up.

ConsAs with any audit firm, the hours are bad but definitely not as bad as with a big four firm. Normal busy season hours could range from 50-60 with a few 70 hours weeks.

Audit Intern (Former Employee) Falls Church, VA

-Open-door policy with managers and partners
    -Great co-workers
    -Work hard, party hard atmosphere

Cons-Focused only on insurance, non-profit and employee benefit plans
-Limited opportunities if you want to do things outside of the public accounting realm

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend
