    Pros

There are multiple cultures depending on which part of the diverse business you are in but everyone is very client oriented. Truly global opportunities for those who seek them out. Well respected management team.

    Cons

Work life balance can be a challenge but probably no better/worse than any competitors. Sometimes can feel a bit disconnected from the greater firm if you are focused on a single client/client site.

I have been working at Jones Lang LaSalle full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

    Having a job and benefits.

    Cons

Mostly salaried employees to work long hours, no life balances. Reducing hourly staff and placing work load on salaried employees as a cost save initiative. Very volatile atmosphere. You would think you were working for dictators.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

You won't listen. The all mighty dollar is the bottom line. Recruit fresh people every couple of of years to replace the burnt out employees. Chew them up and spit them out mentality.

    Pros

In all honesty not much just the work from home

    Cons

They aren't honest or upfront about anything. No work life balance. Can't move anywhere. Constant change. They love catch phrases and throw them around all the time but they don't really get what they mean.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Treat support staff with respect. Get rid of lackluster management increase salaries.

I worked at Jones Lang LaSalle full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

The benefits are pretty good, the company is large enough where you can move and advance your career

    Cons

Leaders have no idea what they're doing. Direct management is incompetent and is so busy shoving the JLL world down their clients' throats they can't pay attention to the needs of their own staffers. When you bring up a concern to HR and have a conversation regarding the office you're working in, nothing is done. An employee had her privacy violated by another employee - to the point where the first employee could have brought up legal action against the other employee as well as the company - and absolutely nothing was done. JLL sells unnecessary services to the client.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Talk with your local-level managers. Get them to actually do their job and interface with their employees. And listen to your lower level employees. Take action when something happens in your clients' offices. Stop making people complete unnecessary reports and tasks just so someone somewhere can keep a job. The extra work just so a spreadsheet can sit in a database and never get looked at is asinine and outdated.

I have been working at Jones Lang LaSalle

    Pros

This is a great company to work for when I first started but has taken a turn since then. Pay, vacation time and insurance are the good benefits this company has to offer.

    Cons

People are not friendly at all. Training program is very poor. The only people who get promotions are people who work more then 12 houers per day and over the weekend.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

You can work from home which is very nice.

I have been working at Jones Lang LaSalle full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

The company offers decent benefits. However, don't plan to use the PTO you're given. Workloads are impossible and it's expected your work nights, weekends and during time off.

    Cons

I think the recent Best Places to Work in Chicago feature was telling. I thought it was interesting employees were quoted about how stressful the environment is with difficult clients. The company sets unrealistic targets, workloads and puts departments at odds with one another. While there are plenty of executives and directors, the workload falls with the minions with no respect to individuals. They won't let you take PTO in a given year until you accrue it, but then make it impossible to use it with the volume of work given. Then, they make it incredibly difficult to carry over the time. You can forget work-life balance it you work here. And the ethics of this Company are even worse. People bring their buddies on as consultants. People are managed by fear and there's a constant churn of staff. So, don't believe the smoke, mirrors and fancy employment marketing campaigns. It's all a pipe dream. Burned out.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Control, alt, delete. Look at your infrastructure and leadership team and start over. A systematic outside analysis of the spans of control, decision-making processes, and a deep dive into the unethical management practices is what is needed.
