Pros
Is definitely a place where there are various roles on offer and a good company to gain some vital experience
Cons
Very underpaid when compared to market rates and excuses of overall package on offer wears thin after a number of years. Has moved on to become a bit of a corporate monster where it goes all out to destroy the opposition and takes no prisoners both inside & outside the firm. Started to get the feeling that you are just a number, not a person and loyalty counts for nothing.
Advice to Senior Management
To get back to being interested in staff and realise that the employees are just as valuable to the company as it's shareholders.
Pros
JLL is great at promoting from within
Cons
JLL is focused on technology, so be certain to be comfortable with changing technology.
Advice to Senior Management
JLL
Pros
Good networking opportunities for future advancement
Cons
Low pay
Poor benefits give to employees
Advice to Senior Management
Leadership should look closely at how brokers treat each other.
Pros
You can wear fancy clothes.
Cons
Work is never recognized and if a promotion is given it rarely comes with a raise
Advice to Senior Management
I would advice JLL to have their upper management act like management instead of chasing after their next promotion
Pros
Big and solidly established company, lesser chance to get laid of in times of financial hardship. Good atmosphere amongst colleagues, firnedly and nice. Employees are highly professional and managers treat people nicely.
Cons
some procedures are quite slow. You have to go thorugh a lot of procedures before anything to be completed, especially HR and IT sides.
Advice to Senior Management
increase salary. The company needs to increase salary. Prices are going up and salary increase is not enough to cover the risen prices.
Pros
My job training was exceptional. JLL trains the employees on the most current software available in the industry.
Cons
Employee training and compensation are too dependent on the Account Manager and Operations Manager that it creates a non-uniform salary and training structure among JLL employees and between different accounts being managed.
Advice to Senior Management
Standardize training and salary structure between accounts being managed.
Pros
Its very challenging and you can gain a lot of experience very quickly.
Cons
Aggressive culture and things move/change quickly. If you are not cut out for this type of culture, you won't make it at JLL. For some, this culture can be seen as corporate bullying.
Advice to Senior Management
They should try to acknowledge the hard work of the employees (managers and individuals). They make a ton of money off of emplpoyee's work and they should focus on recognizing the work.
Pros
There is always work to be done. You are never bored or looking for a new project.
Cons
Everyone is overworked and underpaid.
Pros
Personal Growth, Training, Exposure to various clients
Cons
Work Life - lots of lip service given but no support - left to sort it out yourself when you reach out for assistance.
Can get stuck with bad client and have no way out but to quit.
Employee value - experience not a positive in the new higher AGM era
Advice to Senior Management
Realize happier employees = happier clients. Start rotating assignments to create more exposure to more employees for all project types.
Pros
Many growth opportunities
Well respected company
Cons
Large company so it can be hard to navigate if you don't stay well connected.
Advice to Senior Management
I think they have done a good job at growing the company
