    Pros

Great company to work for with plenty of opportunity to move up within the organization. Great benefits: housing, transport, medical, tickets back home ETA etc. International experience and culturally diverse employees.

    Cons

Long hours and the need to work on weekends and holidays - but that's the nature of the hospitality industry!

    Advice to Management

Make sure everyone is treated fairly from the bottom up!

    Pros

The name and the reputation is second to none amongst hospitality companies. The culture and employees are very diverse which makes your experience excellent and you end up learning a lot.

    Cons

The training and development is not the best I've experienced and the brand loyalty amongst employees is not great. Of course, being a hospitality company, the work-life balance isn't any great either.

    Pros

Jumeirah offers excellent training opportunities to all levels of employees. There is also a very strong sense of company culture and excellence which is delivered from the top down. The benefits that employees get are the best of any hospitality company in the gulf region.

    Cons

The working hours are very tough, but that is similar in any hospitality job. Overall this is an excellent company with hardly any cons. If you join you will get excellent experience.

    Pros

Very few companies will give you the opportunity to grow so quickly
Generally standards and expectations are extremely high allowing you to learn
Great benefits if you live in Dubai for management roles
Sense of pride is generally strong
    Headhunters love you

    Cons

If it's not core business it doesn't get support
Senior management are often not aligned and are disconnected from the business which causes implementation problems that are not then accepted
Very Dubai centric focus - the hotels outside Dubai struggle with defining or living the brand
Work life balance is not a company priority
Decisions are not generally very people centric, particularly for lower level colleagues

    Advice to Management

    Live and demonstrate the hallmarks
Promote people when they deserve it not when they threaten to leave
