    Pros

    Overall the company leadership cares for employees with good salaries and decent benefits. There are a lot of opportunities as the Company is growing and looking into new product lines.

    Cons

    The structure of the sales force is extremely expensive which leads to high priced products that are not competitive. The Company uses questionable sales tactics to push these high priced products on customers who do not fully understand what they are signing.

    Advice to Management

    Reevaluate the sales model to provide competitive products that can benefit a customer. There are very few gas or electric products that provide a value to customers. The variable rate products cause rate shock once the customer is past the discount months.

    Pros

    Great Benefits/ Paid time off

    Cons

    Extremely stressful. Customer reps must constantly clean up the lies told by the independent contractors. Managers are not very helpful. There is no room for advancement unless you are from Canada.

    Pros

    Pay can seem worth selling your soul.

    Cons

    Terrible company to get involved with. 8 hrs/day in the field Mon-Sat, but dedicating 12+ a day to work, no holidays, no benefits, no life. Train you to deceive, harass, make up random bs to people who already hate JE for good reason. Harass you if you want to quit, very money-oriented. Doing more harm than good.

    Pros

    Co-workers, above minimum wage pay, unlimited O/T if you need it, paid vacation, paid holidays, 401 k plan.

    Cons

    Everything else. This place is run in such a baffling manner, every day I felt like I was in the twilight zone. Managers do now know what the heck is going on half the time...when you ask a question, you will more than likely get five different answers to the same question. It sucks the way this company rips off customers, charging two, three, sometimes FOUR times the price they would pay if they would just stick with the utility company. You have to ask permission to go to the bathroom. I mean, REALLY?They do not promote people that deserve to be promoted, instead they promote who they like. They only provide three sick days for the entire year. I mean, I get it, they can't give unlimited sick days but goodness forbid an employee has a child/ren. 3 sick days is really nothing. There is no grace period to clock in. Company offers crappy product, and crappy retention rates. Overcharge customers just to turn around and offer them a lower rate that is still not that great. The managers run around yelling about how many calls are holding, as if you can do anything about it. I could go on and on and on forever, if you need a job take it, but don't stay. Move on as soon as a better opportunity comes along. I'm glad I did.

    Advice to Management

    Give more sick days, and promote people who deserve to be promoted or you will continue to lose good employees who actually help increase your company's value. Oh and we are ADULTS, please stop requiring us to ask to use the restroom. it's ridiculous!

    It located in a nice part of oak park. Ample parking in the parking lot. Frank was Honest. That's it.

    Cons

    This job is very misleading in its job description. They are 100 percent commission based jobs. regardless of what the said when they call you for an interview. They are liars.

    Be honest to potential employees.

    Pros

    There are some amazing people working there and they try to do their best with what they have to work with.

    Cons

    The executive management is extremely shady and it is no accident that they are constantly being hit with class action lawsuits and fines for fraud. They deny responsibility, but are absolutely aware to the highest level.

    Advice to Management

    Leave and spend your life trying to make amends for your actions.

    Pros

    The management, donuts on Saturdays and co-workers.

    Cons

    Commission based only no hourly pay 12hr of time wasted.

    Advice to Management

    Do hourly instead of commission based and you wouldn't have to rehire every two weeks.

    Too many to mention. Door to door sales Not all your sales go through Product is essentially useless
