    Pros

Company is very competitive in the boot manufacturing.

    Cons

The way they balance the production line. They mixed hourly operations with piece rate operations.

    Advice to Management

Need to invest and hire process engineer to fully review every work operation.

I have been working at Justin Brands full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The people that work here are so nice and they want you to succeed; the C suite executives are involved in the everyday processes and make an effort to know who you are. There have been recent changes in leadership, in a good way, and many more great changes coming soon! Justin is very financially secure, so you have confidence in the security of your job.

    Cons

The pay is not competitive; Justin may be a very financially secure company, but you have to fight hard to get paid what you deserve and Also, they are very rigid with schedules...you are there M-F, 8-5, no excuses and no flexibility. No options to work from home either.

  7. If you like the Western/Country industry, you'll do just fine.

I worked at Justin Brands as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

    - Friendly people - Boots and memorabilia everywhere! Cool to see marketing materials, limited-run boots and prototypes. Also, some boot manufacturing done right next door.

    Cons

    - When work gets slow, it drags by. Could have better management of task assignment. - Definitely a community of "good old boys." Although people are friendly, it can be hard to break into the in-crowd.
