Restaurant management amazing. Corporate is wildly disconnected.

Anonymous Employee (Current Employee) Overland Park, KS

ProsManagement is great at restaurant. Supportive. Honest. Direct. Real sense of being in it together. Training and prep is good.

ConsUseless drama. Lots of corporate policy. Some enforced some not. Most of it entirely irrelevant and distracting from one and only goal.

Advice to Senior ManagementTrust your gms. They trust us to handle customer interface and help us all they can. Upper management seems to be in their way regularly.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company

Great restaurant syle and concepts, abusive culture

    General Manager (Former Employee)

ProsGreat looking restaurants and concepts. Loyal core of guests. Company growing.

ConsQuality of life. Lack of any support or positive input from executive team. Executive management focused entirely on finding negatives. Abusive emails and communication the norm. Unable to feel succesful with this company despite great results due to culure of negativety.

Advice to Senior ManagementWork toward positive teambuilding and positive recognition.

Unprofessional and horrible upper level management

Anonymous Employee (Former Employee) Overland Park, KS

ProsDecent restaurants and food. Good following by some loyal patrons.

ConsCorporate management doesn't know how to manage employees. Verbally abusive to staff. Very unprofessional atmosphere. Mentality from corporate trickles down to the restaurants. Very high turnover because of this. I'd be shocked if they haven't been sued.

Advice to Senior ManagementTreat employees with respect. You don't get people to work harder for you by screaming and cussing at them. It's a shame that you've created such a horrible culture bc your restaurants have potential.

Decent Company, but not much room for growth

Anonymous Employee (Current Employee) Prairie Village, Butler, KS

ProsFlexible with scheduling, but a little hard to get it to be consistent at some locations.
Income opportunity is good if you are very personable

    ConsNo room for upward movement.
Management is hard to approach at times(depends on location).
Pretty much dead end when it come to career advancment

Advice to Senior ManagementListen to your lower employees for advice on what is needed at each location. Too worried about profit margins, and not enough about the people that make the industry move.
