    Pros

The systems used at K line are top notch. Management is full of very bright people. Always ahead of the transportation curve.

    Cons

Pay is not the best. However, if you put in hard work, you are able to advance . Can't think of much else.

    Advice to Management

Trust in the staff. There are very smart people all throughout the organization. Don't change any of the principles of the organization

I worked at K Line America, Inc. full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The office environment is good, the schedule is consistent, off on major holidays, receive plenty of vacation and personal days which is a plus

    Cons

Management shows favoritism and does not help employees when there is a problem Salary compensation is way below the average for this position No raises No room for advancement Unprofessional the way management handles situations. There is no privacy, your personal business is told to other employees such as your work performance of if you are reprimanded

    Advice to Management

Need to have a level of professionalism Do not play favorites Raise the starting salary Listen to employee complaints Promote from within the company

    Pros

Good benefits. Good amount of vacation/personal days. Employees are generally treated respectfully. Coworkers are friendly.

    Cons

Compensation is below market levels for equivalent positions in the area. Very limited opportunity for professional growth. The industry as a whole is going through tough times financially. Expected to come in during winter weather with dangerous road conditions.

    Advice to Management

If you want to retain high quality, talented employees, they must be paid competitive salaries and have opportunities to be promoted and obtain training. Right now this is a good place to start a career but there is no incentive to stay.
